March Foodie Pen Pals

It's time for another addition of....(in game show host voice) FOOOOODIEEEE PENNN PALLLLS!

This is my 3rd month doing Foodie Pen Pals and I've been enjoying myself so much! I mean, snail mail is pretty amazing. When snail mail happens to be packed with fun food and goodies, well, it can't get much better. Unless it's shoes of course.

This month has been brought to you by Christina Garcia, a fellow Foodie Pen Paler. She sent me tons of fun stuff.

Its funny, my favorite things were actually from Trader Joe's. I have a TJ's that I go to frequently, and I've seen all the items Christina sent me, but never picked them up. Now I've got a few new things to add to my snack list!

I tore right into the edamame crackers. So good! Plus, you can have 38 crackers and its only 120 calories...bonus, because the next one is not so healthy...

I've walked by these babies in the store so many times, but have resisted...until they showed up on my door! DELICIOUS!

And most likely dangerous if I keep in eye sight in the pantry. So this is the type of snack I hide in the very back and when I realllllly need that sweet treat and I'm digging, I find gold.

Thank you again Christina! I am still enjoying all my treats one by one and I know I will have a few more favorites in the bunch.

Want to join Food Pen Pals? You can even if you don't have a blog. Check out the link to sign up and if this whole thing is new to you here are those fun details about what FPP is all about:

-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you are to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month.
-Foodie Penplas is open to US, Canadian & European residents.  Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. Same with Europeans. We've determined things might get too slow and backed up if we're trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa.

Oh, and I sent my fun stuff over to Kim at Fabulous Fit Foodie.

Onto April we go...
